It's the little things...

It really is the little things in life that make me happy.  Baking cookies with my kids, watching them laugh and play, a tall caramel macchiato, and organizing my Matt and Molly stories!

I know, organizing Matt and Molly stories doesn't seem like a big deal, but I have to say, I was so proud of myself when I did it.  I am lucky to have a variety of these stories to use, and have talked about them before HERE.  My problem was, that the cards were always getting mixed up in the bag, and my paperclip system of holding the sentence strips with the cards was always getting caught up.  I decided to use one my most favorite office supplies, page protectors!  I made a trip to Costco and scored a whole bunch of binders for about $8.  Then, I put the Matt and Molly book in a page protector.  I then sorted the story cards (or took my paperclips off) and put each set of cards in their own page protector.  I put in the sentence strips and any multiple choice answer cards that I have created for each story too.

I also created binder covers for each set using these great editable binder covers and spines that I picked up from SpeechieK at TpT.

I know, this really isn't a big deal, but I was excited at how organized I felt for about 5 minutes!  If you know me, you'll know that my room does not usually hold its organization very well!
